A portrait day at DyWix

The studio floor in Dwarka Sector 13 is built for stills as well as conversation sets. For a headshot you get plain backdrops, textured walls, props, and a light assistant. The published studio-floor plan is ₹1400 per hour with a 3-hour minimum, and the studio is open 24×7.

Most portrait visits are LinkedIn and website headshots, founder photos, and small team rounds. One person can move through two or three looks in the makeup room — two mirrors, a steamer, and clothing racks — then step back onto the same set. You do not change buildings between the green room and the camera.

The wider lighting list on the technical rider includes three Godox QT1200IIIm heads, two Godox AD600 Pro units, a 120cm octabox, two strip boxes, a white beauty dish, and reflectors. The studio-floor booking itself lists two Godox QT 1200 III heads, an octa, a strip, two plain backdrops, props, the light assistant, and makeup-room access. If a job needs the larger kit, say so when you book.

DyWix is a studio you book, not a shop that silently delivers a finished retouch pack. Files, cropping, and any retouch stay with the photographer on the job. We set the room, the power, and the lights so that person can work.

What the portrait booking covers

These are the pieces already on the floor. You are not renting an empty room and hunting for stands.

  • Headshots

A plain backdrop and a controlled key light for LinkedIn, speaker pages, and staff directories. The light assistant moves the stand between people.

  • Founder portraits

Textured walls when a grey sweep is too flat. The same booking covers a tighter headshot and a wider seated frame.

  • Small teams

Book a longer block on the same plan. People rotate through the makeup room while the set stays built.

  • Two backdrops

The studio-floor plan includes two plain backdrops. A textured wall is in the room if the second look should not be paper.

  • Makeup room

Two makeup mirrors, one garment steamer, and two clothing racks. Included with the booking, not billed as a separate salon.

  • Open 24×7

Early and late slots are normal. The minimum on this plan is 3 hours, including the time to set lights and change a shirt.

How a visit runs

  1. 1

    Tell us the shot

Headshot, seated portrait, or a short team round. Mention how many people and whether you are bringing a photographer.

  2. 2

    We hold the floor

You get a confirmed slot at the Dwarka studio. The plan is the studio-floor rate on the pricing page.

  3. 3

Set is up when you walk in

Backdrop, stands, and the light assistant. Use the makeup room before the first frame if hair or clothes need a pass.

  4. 4

    Shoot, then change the look

A second outfit is a steamer and a rack away. The camera position can stay.

  5. 5

    Leave with the session

Your photographer keeps the files. If you need the edit room the same day, that is a separate plan at ₹1500 per hour, also with a 3-hour minimum.

Questions people ask

How long should I book for headshots?

The studio-floor plan has a 3-hour minimum at ₹1400 per hour. One person with two looks usually fits. A team needs a longer block so nobody is rushed through the chair.

Do I have to bring lights?

No. Strobes, modifiers, stands, backdrops, and a light assistant are part of the studio. Bring the photographer if you already work with one, and tell us when you book.

Is retouching included?

The booking is the studio, the lights, and the assistant. Retouching is not a separate line on the pricing page. Ask when you book if you want the studio to handle more than the floor.
