A model portfolio, shot in one visit.

New faces, designers, and agencies use the Dwarka floor for a portfolio: several looks, one room, lights that are already built. Change clothes next to the set and keep shooting.

What a portfolio booking is for

A useful portfolio is more than one frame on one background. On this floor you can move from a plain backdrop to a textured wall, and from a tight portrait to a seated full look, without packing the car. The makeup room holds the clothes: two racks, a steamer, and two mirrors.

The photography plan is the studio floor at ₹1400 per hour, minimum 3 hours, open 24×7. A full day on the pricing page is ₹9000, and the all-in day is ₹15000 when the job needs the wider room, more heads, and more backgrounds. For a first portfolio, the hourly floor plan is usually enough if the looks are already chosen.

Bring the clothes decided. A three-hour block disappears if the outfit list is still open when you arrive. The light assistant keeps the stands moving between looks. If a designer is sending a stylist, the makeup room is the holding area so the set stays clear.

This is the same building as fashion and product photography. A portfolio day can sit next to a product setup only if you have booked the time. The floor is one studio, so overlapping jobs need two slots, not two corners of the same hour.

What you can shoot in one booking

The point of the studio is that the second and third looks do not need a new location.

  • Plain-backdrop portraits

Two plain backdrops are on the studio-floor plan. Use them for the clean frames agencies ask for first.

  • Textured wall

The ribbed grey wall and the floral chairs are in the room when a paper sweep is too bare.

  • Seated and standing

Chairs, a side table, and stands are already on the floor. A look can change from a head-and-shoulders crop to a longer frame without a new set build.

  • Outfit changes

Steamer and racks are a few steps from the camera. Steam, hang, shoot. The lights stay where the assistant left them.

  • Props you can use

The studio-floor plan includes props. Tell us the mood when you book so we are not guessing with the wrong table or backdrop.

  • A person on the lights

The light assistant is part of the booking. You are not raising stands alone between looks.

How a visit runs

  1. 1

    Send the look list

How many outfits, paper or wall, and whether a stylist is with you.

  2. 2

    Pick the plan

Hourly studio floor from ₹1400, a ₹9000 day, or the ₹15000 all-in day if you need the wider kit.

  3. 3

Call time in the makeup room

First look gets steamed and checked in the mirrors while the assistant finishes the key light.

  4. 4

    Shoot look by look

Finish one outfit before the next comes out. That keeps the three hours from turning into a wardrobe pile on the set.

  5. 5

    Wrap on the same floor

Racks, steamer, and stands stay here. Your photographer leaves with the cards or the drive from the camera they brought.

Questions people ask

Can I shoot more than one look?

Yes. That is what the racks and the steamer are for. Two looks fit a 3-hour floor booking if the clothes are ready. A third look, or a second backdrop plus outfit changes, needs more time.

Do you provide a makeup artist?

The room has two mirrors, a steamer, and racks. A makeup artist is not listed as included on the pricing page. Bring your own, or ask when you book.

Is this the same as the fashion page?

Fashion photography on this site is the campaign and lookbook service. A model portfolio is the personal set: your looks, this floor, one visit. Both use the Dwarka studio.

Can a child book a portfolio here?

Children’s portraits are a separate booking. A parent or guardian stays in the studio for the whole session. See the kid portfolio page before you book.
