Studio portraits for children, with a parent in the room.
A children’s portrait at DyWix is a normal studio booking in Dwarka. The set stays simple. A parent or guardian is in the room from the moment you arrive until you leave. We do not photograph a child alone.

How a children’s session actually works
Parents book the same studio-floor plan used for other portraits: from ₹1400 per hour, minimum 3 hours, open 24×7. The extra rule is about the room, not a different price. A parent or guardian stays for the entire session, including outfit changes in the makeup room.
The set is one plain backdrop or the textured wall, soft light, and a few props that are already in the studio. Three hours is the minimum because children stop, start, and change clothes. A shorter clock makes a worse photograph and a worse afternoon. If you only need a few frames, you still book the published minimum.
Bring one or two outfits, not a suitcase. The makeup room has a steamer and racks so a parent can change what the child is wearing without using the set as a changing room. Studio makeup on a child is the parent’s choice. The mirrors are there. We do not book a session that asks a child to be photographed without a guardian present.
The address is the 4th floor, 96A, Block B, Pocket 10, Dwarka Sector 13, near Radisson Blu. There is no separate children’s studio in another building. It is this floor, with the lights turned down to a softer setup and the guardian in the room.
What the session includes
The room is the adult studio, used more quietly. The guardian is part of the booking, not a visitor waiting outside.
-
A guardian stays
Parent or guardian in the studio for every frame, including time in the makeup room. This is not optional.
-
One simple set
A plain backdrop or the textured wall. We do not build a theme park inside a 3-hour booking.
-
Softer light
The same Godox heads, usually through the octabox, so the light is broad. The assistant sets the stand height for a child, not for a standing adult.
-
A short outfit change
The parent uses the steamer and a rack. The child is not left in the makeup room with staff.
-
Props already here
Chairs and small props from the studio floor. Tell us if you are bringing something of your own so it is not a surprise on set.
-
The published plan
₹1400 per hour, 3-hour minimum, open 24×7. There is no separate “kids menu” rate on the pricing page.
How a visit runs
-
1
Book with the guardian’s name
Say who is staying in the room and the child’s age. We confirm the slot on the studio floor.
-
2
Arrive together
The session does not start until the parent or guardian is inside.
-
3
One backdrop first
Soft light, a few frames, then a pause. If the child is done, you still have the room. You do not have to fill every minute with photographs.
-
4
Outfit change with the parent
Makeup room, parent present, then back to the same set if a second look is still a good idea.
-
5
Files stay with the photographer
As with other stills bookings, the studio provides the floor and the lights. The photographer on the job handles the files.
On the floor
Children’s portraits use the photography kit at a lower contrast. The heads below are what the studio owns. For this session the assistant will usually keep one large soft source and skip the harder spots.

- 120cm octabox 1×
- 35×160cm stripbox 2×

Inside the studio
These photographs show the DyWix studio in Dwarka, not a separate children’s set. A parent or guardian stays in this room for the whole session.
Questions people ask
Can I drop my child and come back?
No. A parent or guardian stays for the entire booking, including any time in the makeup room.
Is the price different for children?
No. It is the studio-floor plan: ₹1400 per hour, minimum 3 hours. The difference is how the set is run, not a second rate card.
Do you do school or costume themes?
Bring the clothes you actually want photographed. The studio has plain backdrops, a textured wall, chairs, and props. We do not advertise themed sets that are not in the room.
